Fun toys

Yesterday we bought Reese a new toy. It's the ELC's cut and play vegetables. It's really cool. There are 12 vegetables in a crate. Each vegetable splits into pieces and reattaches with velcro. The child gets to use a knife to cut the vegetables into halves. It feels kinda realistic when you cut the vegetables because of the velcro fastener.

Reese played with it for an hour before bedtime; Happily cutting the vegetables again and again and he also learn the names of the vegetables. It's great for fine motor skills too. Learning to cut that is. :)

By the way, ELC is on sale now. We got 30% off this play set. :)

We got the boys cheapo ones from the market, made of plastic, but they have fun with them too, especially cutting them up then make soup in a "pot" and serve to all the adults.
