Homeschooling again... busy months ahead!

So after 1 week of rest and all of us fully recovered from the cold and jet lag, we are going to start homeschooling again next Monday. There are lots of work to catch up, lots of craft activities to do (Reese is finally interested in craft) like mosaic art (inspired by all the mosaic art he saw in Florence and Rome), more painting (new medium of expression) and weaving (inspired by one of the book he is reading for social studies). We also have lots of science experiments to do. With 3 newly bought Magic School Bus science kits, it's going to be a blast. We will be doing experiments with chicken bones, grow fungi, bacteria, build a telescope, a solar system model and many more. Very excited. Oh, we are also going to make a scrapbook about our Europe trip! We bought lots of postcards and collected brochures and maps to be included in it.  There will be a few field trips coming up and 2 MPO family fun concerts to attend.... Wah! We are going to be very busy for the next few months! I would like to bring Reese to Kidzania too but will wait a few months when the whole operation runs smoother and the staff more experienced. I heard there are a few 'businesses' that are not ready to hire the kids! :)

Reese has been coloring this book we bought from Florence. It's features all the famous buildings and places in Florence. Suddenly he is interested in using coloring pencils.
Postcards, maps and brochures we collected and bought from our Europe trip.
Just arrived. Our Magic School Bus science kits and chapter books.
