I am Four Months Old

Ah! I am four months old today. What have I achieved so far? mmmm.... let me think...
I can lift up my head and chest high when on tummy position
I can roll over one direction (right)
I can play with my tongue, fingers and even part of my legs!
My kicks and pulling are more forceful, so you better be careful.
I can play by myself for a while
I can hold and grab things

My Bumbo Seat

Bumbo Seat is the first infant seat. This revolutionary chair is designed to fit a baby's posture. It helps baby to sit upright and more importantly, it helps them develop the trunk control they need to sit up on their own. Cool eh?

Well, mom and dad got me one! I am finally strong enough to support my head and I am warming up to it. :)

I am getting good at this. I can even play with my toys while sitting!

Hello all, yesterday I managed to turn over.

Mummy is very proud of me.
My daddy hasn't seen it yet.
I am now 3 months and 23 days old.

My 4th Checkup!

Waited for almost an hour to see Doctor Yong. I was quite happy while waiting. Nurses and strangers came up to me and commented that i look cute. :)

Just before I went into the doctor's office... my mood changed, I started crying. I guess I could sense danger!! Yessss.... I was given two jabs today on both my thighs. Now one of my thigh is still swollen and red. It was very painful. Still no sign of fever yet. Phew...

As for my growth (3 months 5 days), I now weigh 6.66kgs (above average), height 64.1cm (above average) and head circumference 40.1cm (average).

After mummy complained about my day time behaviour (very fussy and sleep for 5 to 10 minutes each time), doctor Yong told mum that I needed some "training"... meaning to let me "cry it out" till I can sleep on my own. Poor me.... heard mom is going to give it a try sometime next week.... The technique is as follows: On the first day- to let me cry for 5 minutes before calming me. This is to be repeated not more than 3 times a day. Second day - to let me cry longer - 10 minutes and also to be repeated up to 3 times only. Third day - to let me cry even longer! - 15 minutes. This will go on until I can sleep on my own... so cruel.. *sign*

3 months and counting...

Christmas and New Year were pretty quiet for me. It was because I was too young to do anything! For christmas i got some gifts. They were from:

Daddy and Mummy - Bumbo seat (yellow)
Gong Gong and Po Po - a small elephant bank
Grand Aunt Chew Yee and Min Yee - Clothes
Grand Aunt Victoria - Bib from Australia
Aunt Jillian - a cool looking hat
Grand Uncle Sheffert and family - teether
Aunty Sue - Basic stacker
Uncle Aaron - A soft toy (Mr. Cow)

At the start of new year, I was becoming more Ahem... naughty.. refuse to drink my milk properly from the bottle and wasted some of my mom's precious breast milk. I guess i am so used to breast feeding. I love my mom. Ha ha.

I love to stare at things above my head and i will strain my neck to see them. I smile more these days. I can laugh out loud and my hands and feet are getting stronger. If you let me kick you, you will know what I mean.

When it comes to sleeping at night, i must be fed to sleep or rocked to sleep. No other options. Poor mummy and daddy.

Some of my latest pictures. Hope you enjoy it.
