Gymboree Lesson
It was my 5th lesson at Gymboree. I have definately improved in terms of my sosial skill. I don't look for mom and dad while playing with other kids.

I can do certain actions like holding the tamborine and hit it against my palm and I can use a stick to hit the drum!! I can climb up the little steps pretty well. I love the gymboree balls.... I love it so much that I don't want to let it go. There are alot of things that I still can't do like climbing up a small ladder and a special slide with obstacles. I can't walk without support yet.
Oh, today mum gave me a different vege/fish meal. This time mom uses spinach/fish/potato. I like it. I think I am a potato boy. Haha..

So blur...

I am 10 months and 11 days old

Ah..... These days mummy, daddy, gong gong, po po and kakak are having a hard time following me around! I crawl alot, I cruise alot too. Some how... I am also getting very demanding!

I behaved well during the weekends when mum and dad went to Singapore. Popo and gong gong enjoyed having me for the weekend. Popo didn't even go out at all!! (very rare.. unless sick...hehe). Mum send a few sms while in Singapore asking about me.

After the trip... I was happy to see mum and dad. They bought me a walking and singing robot and a remote control car! I like both. Mum missed me soooo much and she thought I looked behaved differently too...

Two days ago, daddy went to Ikea to get some photo frames.... and he also painted a wall. His latest project... to display my photos on the brightly painted wall. Will ask mummy to take a picture of it once daddy completes it. I am truely the star of the house...hehehe... Now everyone that visits my home...will get to see some of my handsome pictures.

Daddy also bought a wooden toy from Ikea for me. It looks like a roller coaster with different shapes of wooden blocks. I still don't know how to move the blocks around the wire frame.
Some of my latest pictures, enjoy.......
Playing ball with dad before bedtime

Daddy is camera shy...

New Car Seat

Do you know that generally baby stuff like car seats are cheaper in Singapore. I have been looking around for a new car seat for Reese. After much research on the net, I decided to go with Maxi Cosi Priori XP. Thought of getting it in Singapore but holy cow... two days ago I called a shop in Singapore and found out that it went up by SG100. It's now SG449!! Gosh... At first I thought I can save around 200 plus if I get it from there!

Then... on Wednesday night, while window shopping at the curve, we went to The First Year shop and the lady told me she can sell us the maxi Cosi Priori XP for RM900 after discount. Yippie... even though we don't get to chooose the colour...it's still worth buying... the new stock will be RM1k plus... else where also selling RM1k plus... :)

It's really a nice seat, very comfortable. It has 4 recline positions, the first is almost lying down, which was perfect for our baby.It has a five point safety harness, which is well padded over the shoulders and between the legs and there is a sturdy metal clip, not a flimsy plastic one that doesn't last, which I found a breeze putting together. The catch is also child proof,I don't see my son managing to pop it anytime soon!
Happy and Guilty

I am going to Singapore for the weekend with hubby. Yahoo! A real break and spending some quality time with husband.

Guilty and worry because for the first time, I am leaving Reese at my parents. I have never been away from him before! I will miss him alot even though it's only for 2 nights and 3 days. I am not sure whether he will behave himself especially at night. I hope my mom and maid will be able to cope with him. I wonder whether he will miss me. Hehe..

See.... I am just worry and think too much!!

Reese is already 10 months and 3 days old. He is a big boy now. Getting smarter by the day. He is no longer on breast milk. At times he sucks for comfort but that's it. He is still learning how to walk and very active. He is just so lovable and I am so in love with him.

Walking and Teething

Reese took his first few steps unassisted 2 days ago. He is getting more confident in his walking. We are so proud of him. Last night he had a fall from our bed; hit his head and cried for a long time. Poor Adrian was so upset about it. He couldn't catch him in time. Daddy very "sim tiah"/"sam tong". Hehehe..... as for me... I don't feel as bad as the first few times he fell. I guess it's all part of growing up. You just have to hurt yourself a few times along the way.....

Oh... yesterday my mom alerted me that Reese was teething... I felt his bottom gum and true enough I can feel something sharp. Later I managed to take a peek inside his mouth and saw two teeth coming out!!

My little darling is growing up so fast. Can already see a little of his character emerging! Gosh... what's next...

Walking!
Hi everyone, it's been sometime since mom last updated my blog. I have been well and growing. Yesterday, I started to walk very fast (supported) and at Popo's place... I kept walking, crawling and cruising. Then in the evening, mom held on to my little hands...and I walk with very little support!! Mom was impressed.
When we got home, mom told dad about my walking progress and then.... wallah!! dad encouraged me to walk with only one hand holding his hand... I did it... I can walk holding on to daddy with only one hand for support!!
Mom is also weaning me off breast milk... She is a little sad about it...but for me... not much difference...hehe...
My daily milk and food intake:
8am - Milk (4 oz)
9am - Fruit and cheese or yogurt
11am - Milk (6 oz)
2pm - Blended vege fish with cereal
4pm - Milk (6 oz)
6pm - Blended vege fish with cereal
8.30pm - Milk (5 oz)
3-4am - Milk (7 oz)
My progress:
I can understand "wave" , "clap" , "no ah... fall" , "kok kok" and "knock knock".
I can cruise well.
I can walk with support.
I can crawl super fast!
I know how to protest when I don't get my way.
I babble alot.
I can eat pieces of fruits and meat even thou I have no teeth yet. I use my gums to mash my food.
I will be 10 months old next Wednesday. Can't wait for my first birthday!

Ah Pek's wedding
I had fun in Penang with my Penang Kong kong and Ama. They truely missed me. I got to spend a few days of quality time with them. Mummy and daddy got a break too. They got to eat their favaurite Penang hawker food and spending some alone time without me! :) I am not complaining.
I even got to play in my new wading pool! Still not good at playing with water. Right now, I have runny nose so cannot play with water. Oh, yesterday daddy took me to see Dr. Yong because of my runny nose. I am now 9.46kgs and 76cm long. Doctor said I am growing really well. I behaved well!

I can crawl really well now. Love to stand and already started to cruise. Can't wait to say mama and papa.

Happy Birthday to Me

Yesterday was my thirty first birthday. It was a quiet one as usual. Woke up from Reese's cry at about 12 am and after giving him his feed hubby wished me happy birthday with a kiss. Back to zzzz land. Before going to work, took a few pictures with Reese as you can see one of the pictures in the previous post.

Went back to my parents place, my mom, dad and sister wished me happy birthday and my dad prepared 2 eggs for me to eat! :) and got ang pows from them. Later in the day got some smses from good friends and of course my best buddy Ash from UK. After work went to have dinner with hubby at Delicious in Bangsar Village. I like the food there. After makan, went window shopping and my in-laws called to wish me too. After picking Reese and maid we headed home.
Back home, Reese, hubby and I opened the birthday present and Reese enjoyed playing with my present(hubby bought me a forever friends bear!!). We took some pictures of him.

I am thirty one years of age. Wow...that is old... :) Anyway... It's my first birthday with Reese and my best presents this year has to be Reese, my precious husband and my family. God, Thank You for everything. It was not an easy year for me but it is also the most challenging and fulfilling year so far. Praise you Lord almighty.
